Worka Sareji coffee hails from the Gedeo Zone in southwestern Ethiopia, a region renowned for its exceptional coffee-growing conditions. The combination of high altitude, rich volcanic soil, and a favourable climate contribute to its unique flavour profile.
This coffee has undergone a washed processing method, where the cherry pulp is removed before fermentation. This technique enhances the clarity of flavours, allowing the beans' innate characteristics to shine.
In the cup we found this cofffee to be delicate, sweet, and tea-like with notes of bergamot, berries, citrus and soft florals.
